Stampin' Up Morning Cup set makes a good brew...

Hi All,

So here I am with another card for "Just Add Ink" http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/2011/08/jai-81-colour-challenge.html challenge for this week. I Love a good cuppa in the mornings as most of us do!! I used to 4 different colours required in the challenge, using 2 for backgrounds in card stock, the shading is done with the Peach Parfait & Bashful Blue. I was quick shocked that these colours ended up going so well together, all up I like this one more, every time I look at it.

Stampin' Up's "Clearly for you" Stamp set make for lovely cards.

Hi All,
Now here is # 1 of two cards I am putting into "Just Add Ink" challenge this week. The colours used had to be.... Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Peach Parfait & Cajun Craze. I don't have all the stamp pad colours so decided to use card stock from Stampin' Up (which are the colours needed). I hope it's to everyone's liking, oh & it's using the Stampin' Up set called "Clearly for You".

Stampin' Up Happy Christmas Mate make for a fun card..or 3

 Here we are again.... twice in the same night....lol Shock, Horror!!!! Well here we have the Stampin' Up Happy Christmas Mate set again, Yes it IS still in the book.... Alway, as I have said in the previous blog, I have been making some stuff... including these cards. I used the Kangaroo & cut out extra hat & presents to add "Pop" to the card. I used the blending pens here & also some glitter gel pens to add a bit of bling to the presents, I have included a close-up of the kangaroo to show a bit more detail. I used Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock, Very Vanilla card stock  as well as Real Red card stock on both kangaroo cards. The Koala one has the same affects added. These are posted at "Less is More" site for their challenge this week.

Stampin' Up Happy Christmas Mate can take on a different ID...

Hi All, Sorry I haven't been around lately.... Been doing a few other things & making stuff to take with me when I go to Japan at the beginning of October, 2011.
I decided to make a card using the Stampin' Up "Happy Christmas Mate" set, but change it a bit so it wasn't a Christmas looking card. I trimmed the candy cane off the Koala (the koala was holding a candy cane normally & also had a Christmas hat on), Found some striped adhesive paper that had the right width stripes to make the koala look like it's hold onto the stripe. I then shaded him with my Stampin' Up black writer pen using a blender pen... which makes a grey colour when using it this way. I used glitter gel pens to write the sentiment at the top. All this on a Stampin' Up Baja Breeze card stock for the base. This card is entered in the "Less is More" Challenge this week, being things that move.
